Medical-Surgical Nursing: Foundations for Clinical Practice
By admin
Customer Review: Great Medical-Surgical Book for Nurses!
This is a great basic medical-surgical book for nursing students and nurses. Almost every disease mentioned in the book are given nursing diagnoses and care planning guides. It gives basic knowledge on diseases that are out there, sign and symptoms, medical and surgical treatment, and what nurses can do for their patients. I used the first edition in nursing school (the author was our nursing school chairperson) and used the 2nd edition towards the end of nursing school. I even brought the copy to my job – it is very helpful especially when I have to write a care plan for my newly admitted patients. I just look up my patient’s diagnosis and voila, the care plan is there – I use it for reference. My co-workers are even thankful that I brought it with me, they said that the book is very easy to use.
